Sign in with Google Workspace
Use Sign in with Google on the Jericho Security login page to access an existing account with your Google Workspace credentials. This built-in Google sign-in uses Google authorization and does not require you to create a custom SAML application.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”- Make sure you have an existing, non-archived Jericho account with the same email address as the Google account you will select. Google sign-in does not create a new account.
- For access to manage your organization’s security program, ask your Jericho administrator to invite you with the appropriate workspace role. Importing an employee through directory sync does not grant an Admin or Manager role.
- If your account requires SAML authentication, use your organization’s SAML sign-in flow. Sign in with Google does not override that requirement.
Sign in
Section titled “Sign in”- Open your organization’s Jericho Security login page. For the standard service, go to Jericho Security.
- Click Sign in with Google.
- Choose the Google Workspace account whose email address matches your Jericho account. If your browser has several Google accounts signed in, check the selected address carefully.
- Complete Google’s authentication prompts and any verification required by your organization.
- On returning to Jericho, confirm that you have the expected access. Workspace members receive their existing workspace permissions; employees access their training experience.
If you have both a workspace member account and an employee record with the same email address, Google sign-in uses the workspace member account.
Verify access
Section titled “Verify access”Test with an intended workspace member before sharing the instructions with your team. Confirm that the member can sign in and access the expected organization and features. If you are also rolling out employee training, test with an employee account separately.
Google sign-in and Google Workspace directory sync are separate workflows. Signing in does not connect or sync your directory, and connecting your directory does not grant workspace administration permissions.
Troubleshooting
